Roloc Style Quick-Change Lathe Sculpt Sander Adapter (Type R)

Here's my Roloc-style quick-change version of the Sculpt Sander. I use this to create contour sanders for INSIDE the scoops: hot-melt glue some velcro onto a used Roloc disc and slap some funky sandpaper on there (see video).

About

Threads onto your lathe spindle and takes standard 2" quick-change (Roloc / TR-style) discs: flap discs, Scotch-Brite, surface conditioning, and hook & loop button pads. Twist a disc on, sand, twist it off.

Same idea as the 5" Sculpt Sander: low speed + high torque lets you lean into the disc and shape spoon bowls, tight curves, and small carvings.

Pick your thread (color = thread)

• 🔴 RED — 1" x 8 TPI
• 🔵 BLUE — 1-1/4" x 8 TPI
• ⚪ GRAY — M33 x 3.5

The color/thread coding matches across the whole Sculpt Sander lineup.
